Ann Marie Popko

Ann Marie Popko started designing accessories in 1989 after a bad haircut forced her to start wearing hats. Trained in the culinary arts, making confections for the hair was an easy transition. Ann Marie credits her creative spirit to her parents who always encouraged all five daughters to explore and appreciate art and design. Her path has taken her through freelance jobs as a pastry chef, retail display designer, set dresser and copywriter. Now a French Quarter resident, Ann Marie enjoys the opportunity to create ready-to-wear and commissioned bridal, special occasion and Mardi Gras headpieces and costumes.
